Are your products vegan?

Yes, The Good Oil products do not contain animal by-products.

Do you test on animals?

We NEVER test on animals.

Do your products contain any common allergens such as dairy, gluten, soy, nuts or eggs?

Some of our oils are nut-based but all of our products are vegan, gluten and soy free. See each product page for more details.

Are your products made in Australia?

Yes, all of our products are made in Byron Bay, Australia. But to ensure that we use only the highest quality ingredients, some ingredients are imported.

How should I store The Good Oil products?

We recommend storing your all oil products in a cool, dry, dark place, especially the cold-pressed oils. Our hair range can be stored in bathrooms and taken with you when traveling.

Are your products for all ages groups and skin types?

Yes, our products are great for all skin types and ages.

Is it safe to use your products while pregnant or nursing?

Because all of our products are topical, they are safe for pregnant and nursing parents. That said, we do recommend that you consult with your healthcare provider to make sure that the products in question align with your pregnancy plan.

Can I recycle the plastic bottles and lids?

Yes all our packaging is recyclable.

Orders, Shipping & Delivery

What are your shipping fees?

We offer free shipping on all orders over $89.

We ship Australia-wide for a flat rate of $10. International fees vary.

What are expected delivery times?

All orders are sent and tracked via Australia Post. We ship every day and aim to get your order out immediately so the time it takes to get to your door is minimised. Delivery times vary depending on where you are located, and can take up to 8 days to be delivered in Australia. International delivery times may vary.

How can I track my order? / Where is my order?

All orders are trackable. After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email with a Australia Post tracking number. This way you will be able to know where your order is and when will it arrive.

I changed my mind; can I return my order?

Yes, you can return an item within 30 days of your purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and sent back in its original packaging. Please note that return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.

We guarantee that all items will arrive in perfect condition. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us and we’ll replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.

If you’re returning an item for any other reason, we’ll gladly refund the cost of the product once it’s received, though shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
